We had another fun-filled weekend where we made some very magical memories that will last a lifetime.  This past weekend I was just outside of Albany NY in Averill Park, NY performing for a very special birthday boy who was turning 6th.

This birthday party had to be rescheduled due to a family emergency, so this particular birthday party meant a lot to me.  Since this family had been through a lot, I was so honored and happy to make this party so memorable.  It was a blast to have all the kids and parents laughing all through out my high energy show (especially the birthday boy)!!

This will depend on the type of kids party you will be having.  The must haves for a party are:  paper plates, forks, spoons, napkins, cups and decorations.  You want to also make sure that you have birthday candles, a camera (all charged up), and a cake cutter if you are having a cake, something to light the candles with, and thank you cards.

Make sure that you have a pen and paper so that when the gifts are being opened you can write  down who they are from and what the gist was in case the card gets lost or separated from the gift.  This helps when it comes time to make out the thank you cards.

What a busy past weekend we had here in magic land!!  I had 6 kids birthday party shows this past weekend!  All of them were so much fun and I love working with kids as you never know what to expect.

Your favorite area Albany NY magician had another fun and memorable day making a 7-year-old’s birthday party something he will never forget.  As I was performing at a birthday party in Ballston Spa, I could feel the amazing energy from the kids having fun.  (And I think the adults had even more fun than the kids.)  However, what really touched me about this show is that at the end I do a very special ending.  At today’s party, I noticed that the birthday boy had tears of joy; he loved the show so much!

I know I have an ability to connect with kids you won’t find with any other Albany NY magicians or entertainer but today’s show was just over the top.  It’s why I love my job and why all my shows are special to me and my clients, young and old.

This will depend on your child’s age.  If you have a younger child, you can most likely get away with having a few children and some family members to the party.  As they get older and they are in school they want to invite the whole class or they are friends with everyone.  Factor that in with your family members and you have to ask yourself, how many kids do I really want at this birthday party?

You can fix this by placing a limit on the number of kids your child is allowed to invite.  Of course they will not like this but if there is no limit you can wind up with a very large number of children that you will have to keep entertained.   Also keep in mind that as they get older they really don’t care if they have family members to their party, they are all about friends and that is ok to.
